Harvard was recently named the university with the best reputation in the world, and alumni of both the undergraduate and graduate programs are holding influential positions.

Abramson graduated magna cum laude in 1976 with a B.A. in history. She is the first woman to hold the executive editor position of NYT in its 160-year history.

Ban earned an M.A. in public administration in 1985. He is serving his second term as the secretary-general of the U.N. since his first term from 2007. Prior to his appointment, he was South Korea‘s minister of foreign affairs and trade.
